James Gessert
Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technical Officer

James Gessert is the Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technical Officer for Sonora Medical Systems. Jim has held many senior level engineering and engineering management positions with leaders in the medical field including Honeywell Medical Electronics and Vice President of Engineering for C.R. Bard, Electro-physiology Division. Jim holds several important ultrasound patents and was awarded the H.W. Sweatt award for engineering excellence from Honeywell. Jim has been directly responsible for bringing several technologically intensive ultrasound products to market over his career. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from Central Michigan University.
