MRI Repair Technician
This position is responsible to provide technical support for
the manufacturing and service processes for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) products, repairs, and parts. Responsibilities include technical repair, phone support, troubleshooting and repairing to the component level, maintaining labs, assist in the identification of parts to fill customer orders, and insuring compliance with ISO9000 standards.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair MRI products of all types, to the component level
Assist in design, build and qualification of test fixtures and procedures
Assist with reverse engineering of MRI products
Document work performed to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical phone support for MRI customers and Sonora sales people.
Continually seek to improve processes and work flow.
Provide assistance and expertise in product development activities.

Northeast Regional Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
Sonora Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is quota-bearing sales professional responsible for developing and managing sales in defined North American territories. Among the responsibilities of Sonora RSMs are:
1) Directly interfacing with end-user (clinics and hospitals) and 3rd party (Independent Service Organizations; dealers) customers.
2) Providing sales quotations to customers.
3) Following up on sales leads and closing business.
4) Resolving disputes or major issues with customers.
5) Coordinating customer communication with Sonora Customer Service Representatives.
6) Forecasting/budgeting business in their territories.
7) Providing competitive information to Sonora sales management and strategically positioning Sonora within accounts.
8) Generally marketing their business within the territory, including fully supporting regional tradeshows.
Sonora RSMs are responsible for sales of the following Sonora products and services: a) Ultrasound probe repair. b) Replacement ultrasound probes. c) Ultrasound parts. d) Refurbished ultrasound equipment. e) FirstCall and related ultrasound test equipment. f) Ultrasound accessories (i.e., eStore products). g) Ultrasound field service training. On select occasions as outlined by the Director, RSMs may be involved in MRI, Acoustic Power and/or TomTec sales and other duties as assigned.
Solder Rework Technician I
Under the supervision of the Director of Transducer Operations and technical leads, performs rework and repair of cables and boards. Reworks cables of 40 gauge microcoax. Reworks and repairs SMT and thru-hole PCBs. Records test results and other data into computerized business system. Helps maintain inventory control and insure compliance with ISO9001 and FDA/QSR quality systems.
Responsibilities
Perform rework of transducer cables and cable assemblies of microcoax as part of repair and refurbishment operations.
Remove and replace wires on transducer connectors.
Perform repairs and rework multi-layer printed wiring assemblies as directed by: cutting of inner layer circuit paths, wire routing and soldering, removal and replacement of multi lead components, both through-hole and surface mount, and hardwiring using 30 gage (or other as specified) wire.
Clean electronic assemblies and components using approved cleaning materials.
Document inventory receipts, shipments and movements as required.
Follow all policies and procedures regarding safety and housekeeping.
Adhere to SMS quality system standards and procedures, and ensure customer requirements and needs are met
Continually seek to improve processes and work flow.
Ultrasound Field Service Engineer
This position is responsible to provide maintenance, testing, troubleshooing and repair of ultrasound systems and related peripheral devices, at customer sites and in-house. Other responsibilities include technical support, maintaining calibrated test equipment, assistance in selling service, and ensuring compliance with ISO9001 standards and other regulations as they apply.
Responsibilities
Perform on-site maintenance and repair of customer-owned, complex diagnostic ultrasound products. Install and configure diagnostic ultrasound systems and related peripheral devices at customer sites.
Work as part of Sales to promote Sonora Medical Systems products and service offerings.
Serve as company liaison with customers on administration and technical matters in the assurance of customer satisfaction.
Provide maintenance and repairs to ensure proper operation of Sonoras ultrasound system testbeds.
Repair, refurbish and upgrade diagnostic ultrasound products to insure proper operation and electrical safety.
Coordinate and generate applicable work instructions and processes relevant to the
refurbishing function, as defined, of Sonora.
Plan for and schedule calibration for all relevant and assigned equipment.
Document work performed as needed to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
Test and repair spare parts to meet customer orders and Sonora quality requirements.
Answer customer complaints relative to responsibilities.
Continually seek to improve processes and work flow.
Assist with conducting training courses for Sonora customers as defined.
Provide assistance and expertise in product development activities.
